Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a full-time immigration attorney on behalf of a prestigious law firm specializing in business immigration. The position involves handling a variety of immigration cases, including but not limited to E-2, L-1A, H-1B, TN, PERM, EB-5 direct investments, regional center projects, EB-1A, and EB-2 National Interest Waivers. This role also involves handling associated I-485 Adjustment of Status or Consular Processing applications. The ideal candidate will be experienced, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously.

Location:
Bethesda, MD

Duties:

  • Work on business immigration cases, including E-2, L-1A, H-1B, TN, PERM, EB-5, EB-1A, and EB-2 cases
  • Manage client communication and case updates
  • Collaborate with legal assistants and provide case supervision
  • Develop and implement case strategies
  • Handle direct communication with USCIS and consular posts
  • Analyze and respond to requests for evidence and government correspondence
  • Ensure timely filing of immigration documents, waivers, and correspondence
  • Maintain and monitor case deadlines and client calendar updates
  • Provide detailed case status updates to clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an immigration attorney
  • Experience in business immigration law
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual ability (Spanish preferred)

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required

Certifications:

  • Active membership in a state bar (required)

Skills:

  • Proficiency in immigration law
