Duties:

• Represent clients in defense litigation cases, including but not limited to construction defects, transportation and trucking defense, and medical malpractice.
• Prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Manage all aspects of case preparation and trial work, including depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Provide effective legal counsel and strategic advice to clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues and mentors for case strategy and development.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships through clear communication and superior service.
• Engage in business development activities and contribute to the growth of the firm.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of defense litigation experience.
• Experience handling construction defects, transportation, trucking defense, and medical malpractice experience is an added advantage.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, with a commitment to delivering results for clients.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in Alabama or ability to obtain.
