Duties:

  • Advise clients on strategic healthcare transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, asset and equity acquisitions, venture capital, private equity investments, and joint ventures.
  • Assist clients with day-to-day corporate and organizational matters such as formations, capital raises, and operational strategy.
  • Provide legal counsel on healthcare regulatory issues and compliance matters.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of attorneys to develop solutions that align with client goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering proactive advice and managing expectations.
  • Participate in career development activities, including training sessions focused on healthcare corporate transactions.
  • Contribute to the growth of the firm’s practice through business development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in healthcare mergers & acquisitions, private equity, or corporate transactions.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to handle client relationships and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Candidates must be admitted to the bar in the state where applying.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the bar in the relevant state.

Skills:

  • Expertise in healthcare-related corporate law, particularly in mergers, acquisitions, and private equity.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
