Duties

  • Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements related to energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Support project financings and acquisitions, ensuring all aspects of transactions are thoroughly vetted and compliant.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate successful project development.
  • Lead M&A due diligence exercises involving energy and infrastructure assets, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of M&A processes.
  • Provide strategic advice on deal structuring and execution to optimize outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners and clients, serving as a key point of contact throughout the transaction process.
  • Engage in tax equity transactions, contributing insights and expertise where applicable.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Texas State Bar.
  • 3-6 years of experience in energy and infrastructure project development, with a focus on transactional work.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and leading M&A transactions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong client relationships.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Texas State Bar is required.
