Duties:

• Represent clients in misdemeanor criminal defense cases, ensuring effective legal counsel and advocacy.
• Draft and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and other court-related paperwork.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and provide guidance to clients.
• Participate in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to strategize case approaches and solutions.
• Maintain a high level of client communication, providing updates and advice on case developments.
• Prepare detailed case reports and legal analyses.
• Participate in internal meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in criminal defense law, particularly handling misdemeanor cases.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused attitude.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Arizona.

• Bilingual (Spanish-English) skills (preferred).
