Litigation Associate Attorney

We are seeking a full-time Litigation Associate Attorney to join a litigation team specializing in medical malpractice defense in Woodbury, NJ. This hybrid position is suitable for motivated candidates looking to take on complex assignments in a supportive environment.

Duties:

• Assist in the defense of medical malpractice cases and other litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for court appearances and trials as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on case strategies.

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of litigation experience; prior experience in medical malpractice defense or insurance defense is a plus.
• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent research and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in New Jersey.
