A law firm in Seattle is seeking a Mid-level Transactional Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of transactional work experience, preferably including construction law. This role requires a strong commitment to client service, excellent communication skills, and a solid foundation in corporate and/or real property law.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating transactional documents, including contracts, agreements, and leases.
  • Providing legal advice and support on corporate transactions, real estate transactions, and other business matters.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis on various transactional issues.
  • Assisting with due diligence reviews and preparing transactional documentation.
  • Collaborating with clients and colleagues to achieve client goals effectively and efficiently.
  • Managing client relationships and maintaining regular communication.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to and good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.
  • 2-3 years of transactional experience in a law firm setting.
  • Experience with hourly billing and case management.
  • Strong academic credentials and demonstrated legal writing skills.
  • Knowledge of corporate law and/or real property law on the transactional side.
  • Experience in construction law is highly desirable.
