Trademark/Copyright/Entertainment Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a dedicated Trademark/Copyright/Entertainment Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills, including drafting pleadings and motions and conducting depositions, with a focus on trademark, copyright, and entertainment law.

Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and correspondence for state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Respond to complex discovery requests and prepare discovery requests.
• Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel.
• Defend and conduct depositions.
• Present oral arguments at hearings.
• Prepare for trial, including exhibit lists, evidentiary objections, and witness preparation.
• Prepare appellate briefs.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of trademark, copyright, and entertainment litigation and counseling experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent judgment and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing excellent client services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trial experience.
• Experience with drafting and responding to pleadings, discovery, motions, and depositions.
• Familiarity with overall litigation and counseling strategy.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility to waive in.
