Job Overview: A leading personal injury law firm in Boston is seeking a dedicated Trial Attorney to represent clients who have been injured due to the negligence of others. This role involves advocating for injury victims in a variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and product liability claims. The ideal candidate will have trial experience and a commitment to securing justice and compensation for clients.

Location:

  • Boston, Massachusetts

Duties:

  • Interact with clients to understand their challenges and needs following an injury
  • Collaborate with the legal team to gather evidence for establishing liability, causation, and damages
  • Analyze evidence and secure expert opinions as needed
  • Develop strategies and compelling arguments for client advocacy
  • Assess case value and commit to achieving full compensation for clients
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense attorneys
  • File lawsuits, conduct discovery, and take/defend depositions
  • Represent clients in arbitrations and trials to secure compensation
  • Maintain accurate client and case information using the firm's case management system

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar, in good standing
  • First-chair trial experience in personal injury cases
  • Proven negotiation skills within personal injury matters
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with paperless office systems and advanced case management tools

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Experience with case management software, ideally in a paperless environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently on cases
