Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:

A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney with 10+ years of experience to join its Philadelphia office. Location:

• Philadelphia, PA

Duties:

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation from initiation to trial

• Handle cases involving general liability, professional liability, and/or employment claims

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests

• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials

• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage cases efficiently

• Ensure timely case progression and compliance with court deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience

• Pennsylvania Bar admission required

• Experience in casualty, construction defect, professional liability, labor and employment, medical malpractice, or general liability litigation preferred

• Previous experience in an insurance defense litigation firm is a plus

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Experience using LexisNexis or other legal research software

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Bar License
