A law firm seeks an experienced and highly skilled Senior Associate or Counsel to join its team in King of Prussia, PA. This role is ideal for a litigator with over 10 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters. Duties:

  • Manage a broad range of commercial litigation cases, including shareholder disputes, contract issues, class actions, and business torts.
  • Conduct extensive legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
  • Participate in jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations, acting as lead counsel or second chair as necessary.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients and work directly with them to develop case strategies.
  • Handle all phases of motions practice and discovery processes.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and conferences, ensuring effective presentation of legal arguments.
  • Interface effectively with colleagues, clients, and opposing counsel, maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to drive the successful resolution of legal matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial litigation.
  • Strong expertise in handling shareholder disputes, contract disputes, class actions, and business torts.
  • Excellent legal research skills, with proficiency in Westlaw.
  • Experience in all phases of motions practice and discovery.
  • Proven ability to participate in trials, arbitrations, and mediations (as lead counsel or second chair).
  • Ability to work independently, manage complex cases, and interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Teams, and Excel.
  • Appellate experience is a plus, but not required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
