Attorney to work on litigation matters

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in litigation matters in state and federal courts
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and arbitrations
• Manage discovery processes, including drafting discovery requests and responses
• Analyze and review case files and evidence to develop case strategies
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation sessions
• Stay updated with legal developments and changes in laws relevant to litigation

Requirements:

• Proven litigation experience with a focus on research, writing, and motion practice
• Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
• Law journal experience preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Mississippi
