Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
  • Assist clients with elder abuse, neglect, and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to nursing home and assisted living operations.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations changes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and facility administrators to address legal concerns.
  • Prepare and manage case documentation, including legal briefs and motions.
  • Advise clients on estate planning, guardianship, and other related matters.
  • Handle client inquiries and provide timely and accurate legal guidance.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar and active membership in good standing.
  • Proven experience in elder law, particularly with nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
  • Excellent academic credentials with a solid legal foundation.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues and case management.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida State Bar.
