Duties

• Manage Caseload: Oversee approximately 150 cases, with around 50 actively in litigation each month.
• Client Engagement: Maintain transparent and proactive communication with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the legal process.
• Conduct Litigation Activities: Handle depositions, draft and respond to motions, lead mediations, and develop comprehensive case strategies.
• Trial Advocacy: Serve as lead counsel in jury trials, advocating passionately to secure favorable outcomes.

Requirements

• Legal Experience: Minimum of 3 years in personal injury or civil litigation, with 5-8 years preferred. Experience on either plaintiff or defense side, though plaintiff-side experience is preferred.
• Licensure: Active license in good standing with the local State Bar; multiple state bar admissions are a plus.
• Trial Experience: Minimum of 5+ first-chair trial verdicts required, with a preference for candidates with 10+ first-chair jury verdicts. Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate case strategies and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership with the State Bar.
