Job Overview:

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation Defense Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience handling first- and third-party insurance claims, bodily injury cases, and premises liability matters. This role requires strong litigation skills, including trial preparation and case management, to effectively represent clients in complex insurance defense cases.

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload involving first- and third-party insurance claims, bodily injury cases, and premises liability matters.
  • Represent clients in litigation, including depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on case assessments and settlement negotiations.
  • Collaborate with insurance adjusters, experts, and opposing counsel to develop case strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and court procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in insurance litigation defense.
  • Proven experience handling first- and third-party insurance claims, bodily injury, and premises liability matters.
  • Strong courtroom and trial advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
