Litigation Intake Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Intake Associate Attorney for their Houston, TX location.

Job Overview:

The candidate will plan, organize, lead, and control the signing up of new clients, development of assigned matters, analysis of legal issues, demand review, negotiations, initial litigation, resolution of matters, and disbursement of client funds.

Job Details:

• Sign up new clients and ensure proper onboarding.
• Develop assigned matters from intake to resolution.
• Analyze legal issues individual to each case.
• Review demands and conduct negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Handle initial litigation procedures.
• Resolve matters efficiently and effectively.
• Manage the disbursement of client funds.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
• 0-3 years of Personal Injury experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
