Business Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Irvine, CA is seeking a Business Litigation Associate Attorney. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling complex business disputes, with a focus on litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong general litigation skills, experience in civil procedure, and excellent communication abilities.

Duties:

• Handle complex business disputes and litigation matters.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in connection with complex business disputes.
• Licensed or eligible to be immediately licensed in California.
• Experience as a federal court clerk.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
• Federal court clerkship experience preferred.
