Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Attorney specializing in consular processing and removal defense. The position involves managing a significant caseload, interacting with clients, and participating in removal proceedings for both detained and non-detained individuals. Duties:

• Represent detained and non-detained individuals in immigration courts and appeals.
• Explain complex immigration laws and offer strategic legal solutions.
• Manage a diverse caseload of immigration cases.
• Conduct intake and interviews with detained individuals at detention centers.
• Prepare various immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Review, edit, and finalize immigration packets and submissions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community organizations on immigration law updates.
• Develop strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court or USCIS testimony.
• Provide legal analysis to identify potential case benefits.
• Draft and submit legal briefs for multiple immigration-related cases.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in immigration law.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases efficiently.
• Proven experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, EOIR, citizenship, and USCIS applications.
• Experience working with case management software is advantageous.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• High level of interpersonal communication.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Skills:

• Expertise in immigration law, particularly in removal defense and consular processing.
• Ability to effectively manage client interactions and court preparations.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in strategic problem-solving for complex immigration issues.
