Duties:

• Independently handle substantive legal matters related to civil litigation and/or insurance coverage.
• Write coverage opinions for clients.
• Take and defend party and expert depositions.
• Draft dispositive motions.
• Prepare for trials, including drafting pleadings and conducting legal research.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar.
• 3-7 years of experience in civil litigation and/or insurance coverage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Illinois State Bar.
