A prestigious law firm located in Bluffton, SC, is currently seeking a Real Estate Closing Attorney to join their experienced and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in real estate law, especially in handling residential transactions, and will be a proactive member of the team with a focus on business development.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances

• Review title and related legal documents to ensure compliance and accuracy

• Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to ensure smooth transaction processes

• Draft and review essential legal documents such as contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase agreements

• Provide clients with professional and clear communication, addressing their questions and concerns

• Oversee and approve disbursement ledgers and manage the signing of checks

• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients and referral sources

• Lead educational sessions on real estate law for clients and potential clients

Requirements:

• Experience in residential real estate preferred

• Must be a member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of fostering client relationships

• Driven to grow professionally and contribute to the firm’s success

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Member of the South Carolina State Bar (in good standing)
