A law firm is seeking a Corporate Services Senior Associate Attorney for its Lexington location. The Corporate Services Senior Associate Attorney should have extensive experience in Securities Reporting and M&A in a large regional or national law firm. They will handle routine securities filings, merger & acquisition transactions, and other business transactions. Preferred candidates will also have experience with bank regulatory matters. Strong interpersonal skills are required to communicate advice clearly to clients and colleagues. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and be able to offer unique perspectives on complex issues. Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials and be licensed to practice law in the State of Kentucky.

 

Duties:

  • Handle securities reporting and M&A transactions.
  • Manage routine securities filings.
  • Handle other business transactions.
  • Provide legal advice on bank regulatory matters.
  • Communicate advice clearly to clients and colleagues.
  • Offer unique perspectives on complex issues.
  • Prepare legal documents and reports.

 

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of corporate experience.
  • Extensive experience in Securities Reporting, M&A, and Bank Regulatory work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Kentucky.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

License to practice law in the State of Kentucky.
