Duties

• Provide legal counsel to clients on their rights and case matters, drafting related legal documents.
• Represent clients at pretrial hearings and provide strategic advice after each session.
• Oversee court appearances, trials, motion drafting, and witness interviews while conducting legal research.
• Analyze case outcomes by leveraging knowledge of legal precedents.
• Manage and prioritize a substantial caseload effectively.
• Offer comprehensive legal analysis to clients, evaluating potential case advantages.
• Gather and present additional evidence to support the client's defense or counter the prosecution’s charges.
• Prepare clients for depositions, determine key case objectives, and gather testimony from witnesses and expert sources to strengthen the case.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in criminal defense.
• Proven experience handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels.
• Strong collaboration skills, willing to strategize and assist colleagues.
• Must be bilingual, and fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities, fostering strong client and team relationships.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in Nevada, in good standing.

Certifications

• Admission to practice law in Nevada.
