Job Overview: A law firm in Washington, D.C., is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ITC Section 337 investigations and federal district court patent, trademark, or copyright litigation. Additionally, experience in other international trade remedy investigations is considered a plus.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to ITC Section 337 investigations.
  • Assist in federal district court patent, trademark, or copyright litigation cases.
  • Participate in international trade remedy investigations.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington, D.C. Bar, or eligibility to waive into the D.C. Bar.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in ITC Section 337 investigations.
  • Experience in federal district court patent, trademark, or copyright litigation preferred.
  • Familiarity with international trade law and regulations.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Undergraduate technical degree preferred.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Washington, D.C. Bar, or eligibility to waive into the D.C. Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
