Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a skilled Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will possess 4-5 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm, with a focus on class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of litigation experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience with class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation is highly preferred.
• Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
• Previous federal clerkship is a plus.
• Class Action experience is preferred.
• Superior writing, research, and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docket.

Education and Certifications:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar (or willingness to become admitted).
