Duties:

  • Communicate empathetically and professionally with clients, providing updates and answering questions promptly
  • Represent clients in court, speaking persuasively in front of judges and juries

  • Negotiate diligently on behalf of clients to secure favorable settlements or verdicts
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Analyze cases strategically, considering both the legal and personal aspects to provide well-rounded representation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in criminal defense, including DWI cases
  • Active license to practice law in Missouri and Kansas
  • Demonstrated experience in handling jury trials as lead counsel
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas

Skills:

  • Expertise in criminal and constitutional law
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
