Attorney with at least 5 years of litigation experience

A law firm in Seattle is seeking an Attorney with at least 5 years of litigation experience to handle local and national accounts. The ideal candidate will have admission to practice in Washington, with preference given to secondary admission in Oregon. Strong case management skills, precision in legal writing, and professionalism in court proceedings across multiple jurisdictions are essential.

Duties:

• Handle local and national accounts, including case management and representation.
• Review, analyze, and draft discovery requests.
• Conduct depositions of witnesses and experts.
• Prepare and argue motions in court.
• Assist with trial preparation and provide support during trials.
• Investigate facts related to cases.
• Attend court hearings and proceedings.
• Maintain accurate time records for billing purposes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in Washington.
• Preference for secondary admission in Oregon.
• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably as a lateral partner, of counsel, or senior associate.
• Experience with motion practice and conducting depositions.
• Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
• Superior research and writing skills.
• Ability to analyze complex legal matters.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
