Job Overview: A law firm specializing in telecommunications law seeks a Mid- to Senior-Level Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Associate Attorney to join their team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have experience advising commercial space companies before the FCC, a strong background in telecommunications regulatory work, and a demonstrated interest in national security matters.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in matters related to FCC regulations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on telecommunications law and FCC policies.
• Draft legal documents for submission to the FCC, including pleadings, briefs, and petitions.
• Represent clients in FCC proceedings, including rulemaking, licensing, and enforcement actions.
• Advise clients on compliance with FCC regulations and assist with regulatory filings.
• Stay abreast of developments in FCC regulations and telecommunications law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Washington, DC Bar, or eligibility to waive in.
• Experience practicing law, focusing on FCC regulations and telecommunications law.
• Demonstrated experience advising commercial space companies before the FCC.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications law, including the Communications Act of 1934 and related statutes.
• Knowledge of FCC procedures and regulatory processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA) is preferred.
