Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on M&A and joint venture transactions within energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review transactional documents, including purchase agreements and joint venture agreements.
  • Lead due diligence efforts and manage key aspects of deal execution.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to advise clients on complex legal and business matters.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and outside advisors to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting energy and infrastructure sectors.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in energy and/or infrastructure M&A and joint ventures.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong academic background and demonstrated success in prior M&A or joint venture transactions.
  • Membership in the relevant state bar, with eligibility to practice in Washington, D.C.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be a member of the State Bar in the jurisdiction where the position is located (Washington, D.C.).
