Estates and Trusts Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking an Estates and Trusts Associate Attorney for their Towson, MD office. The Estates and Trusts Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and support in estate planning matters, with a focus on drafting sophisticated wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and ancillary documents.

Duties:

• Drafting sophisticated wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and ancillary documents.
• Conducting legal research and analysis on estate planning matters.
• Assisting clients with estate administration and probate proceedings.
• Providing strategic advice to clients on estate planning strategies.
• Collaborating with senior attorneys and partners on complex estate planning cases.
• Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in estate planning matters.

Requirements:

• Strong writing and oral communication skills.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• Bar admission in a relevant jurisdiction.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience drafting sophisticated wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and ancillary documents.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Bar admission in a relevant jurisdiction.
