Job Overview

A prominent law firm is seeking a qualified and motivated Associate Attorney to join its Real Estate Finance Practice Group. The role involves handling complex commercial real estate finance transactions and provides opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, and direct client interaction.

Location

  • Philadelphia, PA

Duties

  • Conduct loan origination for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
  • Manage asset management and workout matters related to real estate finance.
  • Oversee transactions from inception to closing, including post-closing processes.
  • Handle secondary market repurchase facilities and develop exit strategies.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of a national real estate finance practice.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate finance law.
  • Large law firm experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute complex transactions.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in the jurisdiction of intended practice.

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of structured commercial real estate finance, including loan origination and asset management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.
