Location:

Duties:

  • Manage and litigate a high volume of cases related to creditors' rights and real estate law.
  • Resolve issues in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
  • Represent clients in court appearances.
  • Provide appellate support.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry professionals to contribute to the firm's growth.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality legal representation.

Requirements:

  • Active member of the Illinois State Bar in good standing.
  • Newly licensed attorneys are welcome; 5+ years of litigation experience preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to handle a significant caseload in creditors' rights.
  • Familiarity with discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
  • Appellate experience and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code are a plus.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Familiarity with Illinois legal procedures and a commitment to superior client service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Illinois State Bar is required.
  • Additional Bar licenses are a plus.
