A law firm based in Washington, D.C., is seeking a Junior Antitrust Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in handling antitrust merger-related investigations and litigation, as well as merger clearance. Additional experience with federal and state claims is preferred. The candidate should have stellar academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in handling antitrust merger-related investigations, including preparing submissions and responding to regulatory inquiries.
  • Participate in antitrust litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Support merger clearance processes, including conducting antitrust analyses and coordinating with regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on antitrust laws and regulations at both federal and state levels.
  • Prepare and review antitrust compliance documents and reports.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and implement antitrust strategies.
  • Stay informed about developments in antitrust law and market trends.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in antitrust law, focusing on merger-related investigations, litigation, and clearance.
  • Experience navigating both federal and state antitrust claims is preferred.
  • Stellar academic credentials and relevant law firm experience.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Washington, D.C. (or eligibility for admission).

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of antitrust laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to handle antitrust investigations and litigation.
  • Experience with merger clearance processes.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
