Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload related to creditors' rights, ensuring effective legal representation and timely case resolution.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct discovery processes, manage depositions, and resolve conflicts as needed.
  • Represent clients in court, advocating for their interests in various legal matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to formulate strategic case plans that enhance the firm’s reputation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships within the legal community to establish trust and reliability with clients.
  • Stay current on relevant laws and regulations, including TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code, to provide informed legal advice.

Requirements:

  • Must be a member in good standing of the Missouri Bar and licensed (or able to obtain licensure quickly) in the Missouri federal district and bankruptcy courts.
  • Preference for candidates with 5+ years of litigation experience; newly licensed attorneys are welcome to apply.
  • Familiarity with the Missouri legal system and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Missouri State Bar is required.
  • Additional Bar licenses in other states are a plus.
