Job Overview

A leading law firm specializing in workers’ compensation insurance defense is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney. The role requires managing cases across various litigation stages, including trial and appeals. 

Location

  • Fort Collins, CO

Duties

  • Manage cases independently, including all aspects of litigation.
  • Prepare for and participate in trials and appeals.
  • Provide litigation support to partners and associates as needed.
  • Advise clients on legal matters with professionalism and ethics.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Negotiate settlements and develop strategies to resolve cases effectively.

Requirements

  • Residence in Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming, or Montana.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar license in Colorado.
  • 2–5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably with a focus on workers’ compensation.
  • Strong knowledge of legal research, writing, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and case management software is a plus.
