Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Career Associate Attorney to join its dynamic litigation team. This role involves active participation in trial teams, managing litigation schedules, and overseeing long-term projects that align with the firm’s strategic objectives. The position also includes responsibilities related to business development, team integration, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and client service.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with trial teams and manage litigation calendars.
  • Draft and review briefs, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Handle discovery processes, including electronic discovery (e-discovery).
  • Assist in preparing witnesses for depositions and trial proceedings.
  • Develop and manage client communications and industry-related thought leadership materials, including newsletters and presentations.
  • Oversee staffing assignments for associates within the litigation team.
  • Coordinate with firm leadership to enhance workflow efficiency and team effectiveness.
  • Work with innovation teams to allocate appropriate resources for various cases.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience.
  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in managing long-term litigation strategies and staffing needs.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the state Bar.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills:
