Family Law Attorney

A law firm seeks a skilled Family Law Attorney to join their San Jose, CA office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong background in family law to make a meaningful impact by assisting clients through some of the most challenging times of their lives. The ideal candidate will have experience in family law litigation and possess a passion for providing exceptional client care and legal representation.

Duties:

• Represent clients in various family law matters such as divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Stay updated on changes and developments in family law through continuous research.
• Attend and present cases at court hearings and trials.
• Offer legal advice to clients, guiding them through the entire legal process.
• Collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and other staff to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience in family law litigation.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active admission to the state bar.
