A prominent regional consumer credit collection law firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join their team. This position involves handling all aspects of litigation, including reviewing legal documents, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in court. The attorney will be responsible for advocating on behalf of national clients while maintaining professionalism and integrity in all legal proceedings. Duties:

  • Manage all phases of litigation, from case intake to trial
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Ensure compliance with applicable statutes, rules, and regulations
  • Appear in court on behalf of clients in various counties throughout Maryland
  • Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Maryland State Bar
  • Additional certifications or admissions to other State Bars (NJ, DE, OH, KY) are a plus
