Junior Workers' Compensation Attorney

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a motivated Junior Workers' Compensation Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a desire to grow within the firm. This position involves managing a caseload, including negotiating claims, handling discovery, and representing clients in court.

Duties:

• Work collaboratively with a team of Legal Assistants to oversee approximately 150 cases.
• Handle writing demands including drafting legal documents and correspondence.
• Negotiate claims and settlements effectively.
• Respond to discovery requests and manage related documentation.
• Conduct depositions and participate in court appearances.
• Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis.
• Demonstrate top-quality writing skills and strong academic credentials.
• Exercise effective supervisory and leadership skills when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff.
• Maintain impeccable integrity in handling confidential matters.

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation law.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• GA Bar license required.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• GA Bar license.
