A law firm in Jupiter, FL, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Transactional Lawyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of real estate transactions, including negotiating contracts, conducting title searches, managing closings, and ensuring post-closing compliance. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and draft real estate contracts, addenda, and financing agreements.
  • Conduct title searches, review title commitments, and facilitate title curative actions.
  • Prepare closing statements, closing disclosures, and coordinate closing logistics.
  • Communicate effectively and promptly with realtors, buyers, sellers, and lenders via phone, email, and text.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the transaction process.
  • Review and interpret surveys, inspections, and property documents.
  • Facilitate the issuance of title insurance policies and resolve any post-closing issues.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on real estate matters to clients.

Requirements:

  • 4-9 years of residential transactional experience (commercial transactional experience is a plus).
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in Florida.
  • Proficiency in negotiating real estate contracts and handling closing procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Courteous and prompt communication skills with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet deadlines.
