  • A portable book of business is highly valued but not required.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships, with the ability to develop new business opportunities.
  • Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills, with a focus on preparing effective legal documents and presenting strong arguments in court.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also managing cases independently.

Educational Background:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Additional certifications in employment law or related fields are beneficial but not required.

  • Advanced knowledge of California and federal employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, anti-discrimination laws, and employee benefits.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while meeting or exceeding billable hour targets.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal issues to clients clearly.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to reach favorable resolutions for clients in employment disputes.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on business development and expanding the firm’s employment law practice.

Benefits:
