Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a skilled and dedicated Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this full-time role, you will represent clients involved in personal injury and property damage cases, ensuring they receive exceptional care and the best possible legal outcomes. You will handle various phases of litigation, from case preparation to trial, while maintaining strong communication with clients and insurers.

Duties

• Conduct client consultations to understand their needs, explain legal processes, and establish trust.
• Manage personal injury and property damage cases, preparing them for trial and representing clients in court.
• Provide timely updates to clients regarding the status of their cases, including settlements, offers, and demands.
• Engage with insurance companies to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.
• Maintain accurate records and legal documentation throughout the case lifecycle.
• Advocate for clients in settlement negotiations, trials, and pre-trial motions.
• Work independently to prepare cases for trial, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience, with at least 1st chair trial experience.
• Member in good standing with the Indiana Bar.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Strong experience in evaluating personal injury and property damage claims.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive and self-sufficient, with the ability to work independently in an office environment.
• Strong team player who thrives in collaborative settings.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Indiana State Bar.
