Senior Litigation Attorney

Los Angeles office of our client seeks a senior litigation attorney with 3+ years of experience in civil litigation with an emphasis on Employment and Business Law. The candidate will work independently in all aspects of litigation and arbitration, such as drafting complaints, discovery, court appearances, mediation, and trial. Will be assisting businesses to prevent, navigate, and resolve complex legal issues. Assisting and advising businesses on establishing their company's structure, policies, objectives, and procedures. Ensuring all relevant laws and outcomes are understood by businesses. Researching and resolving legal disputes through the analysis of relevant laws, argument development, evidence collection, and zealous legal representation. Drafting, reviewing, completing, and filing legal paperwork related to business operations. Examining and reporting any potential or existing legal issues to the relevant authorities. Negotiating contract terms, transactions, and settlements on behalf of the clients, including mergers and acquisitions. Managing multiple clients, cases, and legal activities that carry varying deadlines. Admission to the California State Bar is essential.

The candidate should have a strong work ethic, outstanding research and writing skills, and the ability to handle own cases from intake through trial. Must have outstanding communication skills with colleagues and clients. Should have ability to develop strategy and lead assigned caseloads through to trial. Must have willingness to take on new, challenging and unique tasks. Must be hardworking, Innovative, and detailed oriented. Should be a self-starter who takes ownership of executing tasks.
