Duties:

• Manage cases from initiation to closure alongside a team of legal professionals.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, correspondence, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal analysis on case law, statutes, regulations, fact patterns, and insurance policy language.
• Review and analyze claims files, correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Prepare for and attend or conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and other meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.
• Assist in trial preparation as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance coverage or complex litigation (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, including discovery, motions practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Active license to practice law in Washington.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Washington State.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing capabilities.
• Proficient in civil litigation and insurance coverage matters.
• Skilled in managing case workflows and working as part of a legal team.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
