Duties

• Lead personal injury litigation matters, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial phases

• Conduct client consultations to assess case viability and establish strong attorney-client relationships

• Communicate with medical professionals, insurance representatives, and other parties regarding case developments

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other court documents

• Participate in settlement discussions, mediations, and depositions

• Develop trial strategies and serve as 1st chair in courtroom proceedings when necessary

• Collaborate with support staff and junior attorneys for effective case management

• Maintain detailed case records and ensure timely progression through the legal process

Requirements

• Active license and good standing with the State Bar of Arizona

• Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience with proven courtroom success

• Demonstrated 1st chair trial experience in personal injury or related areas

• Fluent in English; bilingual abilities (especially Spanish) are a plus

• Strong case evaluation and negotiation capabilities

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills

• High attention to detail and organizational proficiency

• Ability to work autonomously within an office-based setting

• The team-first mindset with the flexibility to manage multiple priorities

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Must hold a valid and active Arizona legal license

• Trial certification or litigation specialization is advantageous but not required
