A law firm is seeking a Pre-Suit Personal Injury Attorney:

Job Overview: The Pre-Suit Personal Injury Attorney will manage and negotiate cases with insurance providers before formal litigation, ensuring effective client representation and favorable outcomes.

Job Duties:

  • Manage a full caseload of pre-suit personal injury cases from inception to settlement.
  • Oversee and supervise a dedicated full-time legal assistant.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and address inquiries.
  • Initiate new case files and conduct initial client consultations, ensuring ongoing client contact.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gathering and analyzing intake information and relevant documents.
  • Enter and maintain case details in the firm's database (ATO).
  • Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, maintaining contact with insurance companies.
  • Coordinate clients' medical care, liaising with medical providers and scheduling appointments.
  • Monitor case status and review medical records to assess case developments.
  • Organize and manage case files, preparing them for submission to demand writers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience managing a substantial personal injury caseload.
  • Active membership in the Bar Association with good standing.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Empathetic and skilled in client interaction during challenging circumstances.
  • Determination to achieve optimal results and successful case outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Consistent record of attendance, reliability, and integrity.
  • Bilingual proficiency is advantageous.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar.
