Associate Attorney needed for Los Angeles office

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a diligent and driven Associate Attorney to assist partners and senior associates with managing complex legal matters. The ideal candidate will handle cases from inception through trial, work closely with clients, and contribute to the firm’s growth and success.

Duties:

• Assist partners and senior associates with managing a diverse caseload of complex legal matters.
• Handle cases from inception through trial, including preparation, litigation, and resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, and negotiations.
• Work closely with clients to understand their legal needs and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain and manage case files, ensuring all documents are organized and up-to-date.
• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations in California.
• Develop and cultivate your own client base and referral sources in collaboration with leadership.
• Participate in local, state, and national trial lawyer associations to enhance professional development and network.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• 1+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex cases.
