Duties

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including insurance defense, auto claims, premises liability, and medical malpractice
• Manage all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Attend and conduct court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials both in-person and virtually
• Provide legal counsel and case analysis to clients, ensuring high-quality representation
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Collaborate with legal teams, experts, and clients to develop effective defense strategies
• Maintain compliance with court rules and professional legal standards

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, or equivalent practice
• Strong trial experience and ability to handle cases independently
• Demonstrated expertise in case strategy, legal research, and motion practice
• Excellent oral and written advocacy skills
• Proficiency in legal technology and case management platforms
• Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the California and/or Nevada State Bar
