Duties:

  • Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances
  • Review title documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate transactions
  • Draft and/or review loan documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements
  • Provide a professional and engaging client experience, addressing any questions or concerns
  • Review disbursement ledgers and sign checks
  • Cultivate and grow business relationships to enhance the firm’s client base
  • Conduct client training in relevant areas of real estate law

Requirements:

  • Residential real estate experience preferred, but will train the right candidate
  • Member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a team environment
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and community involvement
  • Growth-minded with a focus on residential real estate
  • Demonstrated success in previous legal roles

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the South Carolina State Bar
