Duties:

• Meet with clients, either in-person or virtually, to discuss cases
• Draft and review legal documents
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and mediations
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel
• Conduct legal research and ensure all case deadlines are met
• Manage a caseload within a supportive team structure
• Maintain a healthy work-life balance by taking regular vacations and enjoying family time
• Collaborate with colleagues in a professional, collegial environment

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in bankruptcy law
• Proven track record of handling bankruptcy cases, from initial consultation through to resolution
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle complex legal research
• Proven ability to manage a caseload while meeting deadlines
• Comfortable with both in-person and virtual client meetings

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of bankruptcy law and procedures
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to negotiate and mediate disputes
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously
