Duties

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including complaints
  • Conduct depositions, prepare clients, and represent them in hearings
  • Draft and respond to discovery-related communications and motions
  • Participate in settlement negotiations
  • Attend court appearances and mediations
  • Conduct investigations and provide litigation support
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation and strategic case development

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in personal injury law, with a strong litigation background
  • Proven ability to manage pre-litigation and discovery phases of personal injury cases
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Juris Doctor degree and active good standing with the California State Bar
  • Experience with workers’ compensation cases (a plus)
  • Proficiency in conducting depositions and written discovery
  • Availability to work during Pacific Standard Time office hours

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in California, with current good standing

Skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle high-pressure litigation tasks and deadlines
  • Proficient in legal research, drafting, and deposition skills
  • Strong attention to detail and case management abilities
